Sypniewski, cites the University Center and its various off-campus sites available to Macomb County students including Wayne State University . "Although there may be a certain level of prestige and economic benefits derived from having a university located in Macomb ," Sypniewski writes, "residents who want a bachelor's degree do not have to commute or move out of the county to achieve that goal."
